Supermarket Indicated Selling Rotten Meat in Cempaka Putih

The ranks of Central Jakarta Maritime, Fishery and Food Security Sub-dept did a sudden inspection in one of supermarkets in Cempaka Putih area. As a result, they managed to detect dozens of rotten chicken meat. 

There are 11.1 kilograms of meat and beef are rotten and unworthy consumed

Head of Central Jakarta Maritime, Fishery and Food Security Sub-dept, M Mulyadi disclosed the examination is focused on livestock product such as chicken, beef and 11 cattle products. When being examined, those are already rotten.

Rotten Meat Detected in Central Jakarta

"There are 11.1 kilograms of meat and beef are rotten and unworthy consumed," he stated, Tuesday (5/3).

He admitted, temporarily, his side will not issue technical recommendation whether supermarket is worthy or not to be given permit through One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (PTSP). Yet, his side will routinely conduct monitoring.

"We'll recheck later. If the same case is still found, we will evict the peddler," he expressed.

Further, the officer immediately burns those rotten meats in order to anticipate the same case in future.
